There are a few things I love more at home than a cozy candle, whether it be for scent or for ambience. I particularly love taper candles, and have them scattered throughout my home and projects on most (!) open surfaces, but I also love the look of a wall candle sconce. What used to be purely utilitarian now feels like such a simple luxury- and they often look just as pretty on the wall when they’re unlit (but you should definitely use them and absolutely light them. This post might seem obvious to some, but I found myself saving lots of good ones lately, so I figured I would share a round up. I also love the idea of sharing [insert item that I love here] on the market right now kind of posts in the future, so let me know what you’d like to see!
On another note, I wanted to acknowledge my absence here on Substack the past two weeks. In case you didn’t see on Instagram, I shared that we lost our darling Max a few weeks ago, and I’ve taken some time away to just be. To be honest, I haven’t felt very inspired to write or share much of anything- I’m sure it will come back in the future, but grief is a funny thing and is on its own timeline. Thank you for being here in the meantime. xx
Chrome shell candle holder (I love this one!)
Pair of Swedish brass sconces (I’m particularly drawn to the Swedish sconces)
Pewter wall sconce (Match pewter is superior)
Pair of Swedish Mid century sconces (again, so good)
Venetian mirrored sconces (s stunning statement!)
Hope you’re having a lovely week!
The loss of a pet is so devastating. I hope you don’t feel any pressure to create/post/etc. Sending you hugs and a thank you for sharing your sweet buddy with us. 💓
